Stacy Sollisch, who grew up in New York, describes herself as a life-long learner with a sense of adventure. A buddy in her culinary arts school encouraged her to move to Florida, and she thought, “Why not? Florida is warm.” Stacy was enchanted by Florida’s abundant flora, earned a BS in horticulture, became a certified arborist, and eventually owned her own landscape business. Working with landscaping clients, whether designing a small patio garden, or transforming a million-dollar property, taught her that people have their own way of imagining and communicating their dreams.
Stacy’s curiosity also landed her in a ceramics studio, and while teaching ceramics, she visited the Silver City Clay Festival. She fell in love with the beautiful small town, its easy-going pace, and rich culture. She made Silver City her home in 2019.
Stacy’s thirst for learning and working with people hands-on also led her to the real estate profession with a chance to make new friends, start on the 'ground floor' with getting to know a client who wants to sell a home, or find the perfect property, Helping buyers or sellers navigate to the finish line is where she comes in. She finds great pleasure in using the right side of her brain - the creative side, whether traveling through the West taking beautiful landscape photographs, creating sculptural or functional ceramic art, or restoring a 1951 Royal Spartan trailer. Matching buyers and sellers has a different, but equally creative feel for her. She feels that respect for people and valuing their time is important to all involved in the process of buying or selling a property and she looks forward to assisting in making the process as smooth as possible.
